Try Scuba at the Downtown Aquarium:
A quick and easy way to discover what
scuba is all about!
Ever since you can remember you've wanted to try scuba diving, right?
Maybe you watched a cool movie on television that had scuba divers in it or a friend of yours just got back from a trip to the "Islands" and went diving dolphins, sea turtles and other neat critters.
So if you're interested -- and we hope that you are -- then come join us in one of our Try Scuba Diving experiences at the Denver Downtown Aquarium and DISCOVER SCUBA, in the Under the Sea Exhibit. It's lots of fun, easy to do and it takes very little time. Besides getting to blow bubbles underwater, you'll swim with a 400 pound Queensland Grouper, Stinrays, Guitar Fish, Potato Cod, two giant Green Sea Turtles, four lazy Nurse Sharks and a whole bunch of other cool fish. Try Scuba is offered the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month beginning at 10:30 AM. Space is limited so sign up in advance. Must be 10 years of age or older, confortable in the water. There are required forms that must be completed in advance, guests under the age of 18 must be acompanied by a guardian during the program, however the guardian is not required to enter the water they must only be present to review and sign the required forms and observe the program from the public viewing area. Any and all questions should be addressed in advanced with A-1 Scuba.
